I just completed our landscape lighting using LED lights.  Total power consumption is 70 watts.  They should last a whole lot longer than other lights that are readily available.  Come check it out at 2605 Pin Oak.  I am retired, so I can help you install yours.  You cannot buy these lights at Home Depot.
